Cancellation, refund and return Policy

 

By singing up OMA membership, you confirm you have read and accepted the rules & regulations (Bylaws) governing the OMA. You also assert that you are a doctor working in the sultanate of Oman in a good standing position. You also confirm that your license to practice is not currently suspended.

At any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation, providing that if we cancel any services you have paid for and you have not breached the terms and conditions, we will refund to you a pro rata amount of your payment, such amount to be calculated by us using any reasonable methodology.

The OMA membership cycle is based on a calendar year. You may cancel your membership by writing directly to the General Secretary of the OMA via email (gen-sec@oma.om). Full refunds are issued upon written request within 35 days of membership activation minus the processing fees (3%). No refunds request is accepted after 35 days.

Be note, the refund process might take long time depending on the bank process and the refunds will only be made to the bank account or credit card of the originating payer.

You may cancel your account on our website using your account control panel on the website or contact the administrator. You will not be entitled to any refund if you cancel your account in accordance with (section 8.2 in terms and conditions).

If you make an unjustified credit card, debit card or other charge-back then you will be liable to pay us, within 7 days following the date of our written request;

a- An amount equal to the amount of the charge-back,

b- All third-party expenses incurred by us in relation to the charge-back including charges made by our or your bank of payment processor or card issuer;

c- An administration fee of 10 OMR; and

d- All our reasonable costs, losses and expenses incurred in recovering the amounts referred to in section 10.6 of terms and conditions (including without limitation legal fees and debt collection fees).

And for the avoidance of doubt, if you fail to recognize or fail to remember the source of an entry on your card statement or other financial statement, and make a charge-back as a result, this will constitute an unjustified charge-back for the purposes of this section 10.6.

If you owe us any amount under or relating to these terms and conditions, we may suspend or withdraw the provision of services to you.

We may at any time set of any amount that you owe to us against any amount that we owe to you, by sending you written notice of the set-off.

In case you registered through registration form and you are not eligible as per section 6 in terms and conditions or you withdraw within the first 35 days, full refund of your money is returned to you minus (all third-party expenses incurred by us in relation to the charge-back including charges made by our or your bank of payment processor or card issuer plus administration fee of 10 OMR).
